MLRC Girls set new standards at Youth Nationals

Updated Tuesday June 12, 2018 by Zach Spitzer.

The Mountain Lakes Girls squad took to Lake Natoma, CA at the USrowing Youth National Championships this past weekend. They competed against the best rowers in the country, and came away with some of the best results the team has ever seen.

The pair finished in 20th, improving its placement from the time trial. The Lightweight Four improved from 18th last year to 13th this year by winning the C final, and the Varsity Four made the B final and finished 12th in a tight race, only 3 seconds off of 9th place. Really great results to build off of for next year!

Congratualtions to all boats for a fantastic weekend!
